Holistic retreat is an opportunity for self-growth, rejuvenation & consciousness expansion. "Sacred Balance & Wellness" retreat takes you inside of yourself and helps you regain a balance between head, heart, body and soul by using a selection of modalities such as: gentle yoga postures, breathing, relaxation, chakra balancing, meditation, positive psychology exercises, stress-management techniques and other self-discovery techniques.

Holistic retreat builds ability to live meaningful and authentic life in different aspects:

This retreat is designed to help you tune in to your inner wisdom, create sacredness in your life, increase awareness, create healthy life balance and bring a sense of wellbeing and renewed purpose. During this weekend retreat you will learn stress-management techniques, regain your life balance and explore the relationship you hold with yourself, with time and with others and how to make them work positively for you.

Dr Zana Marovic is a clinical psychologist, transpersonal therapist, author, hypnotherapist and yoga teacher. Her vision is to inspire, teach, and motivate others by facilitating authentic holistic and mindful life changing experience in the harmony with nature.  Zana has a passion for the integration of Eastern and Western wisdom and a holistic approach to the mind-body-soul. “The Sacred Balance & Mindfulness Retreat” draws from the variety of training she accumulated over 25 years of professional work and blends positive psychology, visualization, transpersonal therapy and quantum psychology with ancient practices of yoga, meditation, chakra balancing and breath work.


R 3700-00 per person is inclusive of: three day retreat program, two nights shared accommodation in two-bedroom suites and three delicious Ayurvedic meals daily.

Melody Hill is set in a secluded and peaceful pecan-nut orchard, on the banks of the Magalies River. This forested estate boasts a unique ecosystem teaming with birds and indigenous plant life. Melody Hill offers a peaceful and tranquil setting for the integration of mind, body and soul. A pool and shady trees keeping you cool in summer, and wood-burning fireplaces keeps you cosy in winter.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily and you will detox and experience energy renewal through delicious wholesome Ayurvedic meals. Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day along with homemade snacks.

Transpersonal psychology is focusing on creating sacred in our life and our capacity for wisdom and compassion. The ultimate goal is the integration of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of wellbeing, as well as development of our potential, inner resources. Transpersonal practice includes mindfulness, visualization, wise-self exercises, dream work, journaling, breath work, etc.

Mindfulness has roots in ancient practice of meditation and Buddhist tradition. We achieve mindfulness by focusing our awareness on the present moment, and acknowledging and accepting our feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations. Goal is to become attuned with our body, emotions, mind and spirit and alleviate stress as well as see and respond to situations with more clarity and more effectively.

Yoga, Meditation & Breath Practices: Dating back over 5000 years, yoga is the oldest defined practice of self-development. Yoga brings together mind, body and spirit. Among the many benefits of practicing yoga, breathing & meditation are: the improvement of many medical conditions, lowering blood pressure and heart rate, an enhanced sense of well-being, spiritual growth, reduced anxiety and muscle tension, increased flexibility, a concentration boost and a slowed aging process.
